Day-By-Day Itinerary
Arrive at Noi Bai Airport and transfer to central Hanoi (~35 mins). Choose a morning or afternoon city tour with lunch, based on arrival time. Morning option (8:00–8:30 AM pickup): Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda (6th-century pagoda on West Lake), the Ho Chi Minh Complex and Mausoleum, and the One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to the Vietnam Ethnology Museum (Women's Museum on Mondays, when it's closed). Enjoy a Vietnamese lunch to conclude the tour. Note: Dress modestly for temple visits. Mausoleum closed Mon & Fri — guide will substitute an alternate site. Afternoon option (from 12:30 PM): Start with a Vietnamese lunch, then visit the Temple of Literature (Vietnam's first university, founded 1070), Hoa Lo Prison ("Hanoi Hilton"), and Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake, crossing the iconic red bridge. Return to hotel.
